This policy covers hahahaudio.com, Co-Operator (coop.hahahaudio.com), Drum Off (drumoff.hahahaudio.com) and Drum Circle (drumcircle.hahahaudio.com), all run by Hahahaudio LLC. None of them have accounts, ask for your email, set cookies of their own, show ads or use outside analytics. We do not sell or share your information.

The website

hahahaudio.com keeps your light or dark choice in your browser. Its typeface comes from Google Fonts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps request logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the service. The same is true of every product below.

Co-Operator

• Your name. You choose a display name of up to 20 characters. Others see it in the room's list of people, in chat and in the room's log, and as the maker of rooms you create. Your browser remembers it.
• On your device. Your browser keeps a random player ID, room codes and passes you have entered, the keys to rooms you made, your settings, and a recording of what you heard (the last two hours unless you choose less). That recording never leaves your device.
• Visits. Each time you open Co-Operator our server logs your player ID, name, room, browser type and the time.
• Rooms. We store what is made in each room: patterns, scenes, settings, samples (including audio files you upload and sounds you record), drawings, lyrics and chat, marked with the player ID of who made them. Everyone in the room can see them. We also keep an hour-by-hour recording of each room's music and chat. Anyone can replay the recordings of public rooms; private rooms' recordings need the room's code.
• Microphone. Used only when you record a sample in the sampler, for that take of up to 2 seconds. The take becomes part of the room.
• Removing people. Anyone in a room can remove another player, except the room's maker. To keep removed players out and to limit guessing of room codes, we keep IP addresses and player IDs: removals indefinitely, wrong-code counts for 30 days. Co-Operator is not available in some countries, judged by Cloudflare from your IP address.
• Linking devices. When you link a second device, your name, player ID, room keys and codes wait on our server for about 10 minutes so the other device can collect them.
• Reporting and blocking (iPhone and iPad app). If you report someone, we receive an email with their name and player ID, your name and player ID, the room, the time, your device type, and up to 20 of their recent chat lines as your screen showed them. We use it only to look into the report. Blocking someone and the word filter work on your device alone; nothing about them is sent to us.
• Error reports. If something breaks, the app sends the error message, where it happened, the build number and your browser type. A report can include a room ID or mixer settings, never your name.
• Where it runs. coop.hahahaudio.com and coop-operator.adababar.workers.dev (used for MP3 export and by the phone and desktop apps), both on Cloudflare.

Drum Off

• You choose a display name of up to 20 characters. Everyone on the site sees it on the stage, in the queue, in chat and next to your hits. Your browser remembers it.
• Chat lines are kept with your name, colour and the time, and everyone on the site can read them.
• Your own sounds: an audio file you upload or a sound you record with the microphone is cut down and compressed in your browser first. The result is sent to our server and played to everyone while you are on the site, then deleted after you leave. A copy stays in your browser for next time. The microphone is on only while the sounds box is open.
• The page also loads its 3D library from jsDelivr.

Drum Circle

You choose a display name, which others see next to your hits while you are connected. Our server does not store it; your browser remembers it. The page also loads its 3D library from jsDelivr.

How long we keep things

Room contents, room recordings, chat and the visit and error logs are kept until we delete them; nothing else above expires unless a time is given. Deleting a room in Co-Operator hides it, but its contents and recordings stay on our servers until we remove them.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Clearing your browser's site data for a product removes what it keeps on your device. To have a room, your contributions, your chat lines or your log entries removed from our servers, email us.
